I think it should be desperately included that many of his songs are included in various macromedia works. Incase you haven't seen the banana phone shockwave on albinoblacksheep or newgrounds. --Cyberman 05:29, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I knew someone would mix the guy up with Raffi (musician). You can raise the issue there if you want.
That comment was 1 year and 5 months old. VartanM 03:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
No way, man. I'm not stupid. This article must have been changed since then. Weird, I'm not sure. But I've studied Montessori and other types of education. I would not have commented here were I wrong. --Cyberman 22:52, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
You're right, the article was moved from Raffi to Raffi (poet) on May 2006. Btw that comment was left by an anonuser.

Not only a poet

edit

As the article indicates, he was an author as well as a poet. Perhaps the article should be moved to Raffi (writer). Hakob (talk) 02:22, 31 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Flowery language, much?

edit

Okay, this article waxes poetic there (pun not intended) - talking about the 'slumbering of the Armenian people.' Can we fix this? Cinnamingirl (talk) 18:28, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Title of Raffi page

edit

I think "Raffi (novellist)" is the best choice. His novels are what he is most famous for. His poetry can be mentioned in the article later. I'd like to get some feedback before I try changing it on my own. Thanks. Diranakir (talk) 19:07, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Raffi's wife's maiden surname is stated as being Ghazajan. My information is that her maiden surname was Hormouz. Can whoever provided Ghazajan explain their source? Thanks. Diranakir (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:11, 13 June 2010 (UTC).Reply

Nationality

edit

He was born in Qajar Persia, so his nationality was Persian. (Prior to 1935, everyone born in Persia was Persian by nationality) His ethnicity remains Armenian obviously.

In ictu oculi I don't understand what you mean. They're two different people. One's a musician, and another a famous novelist. They should be separated under those titles. Étienne Dolet (talk) 10:08, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
