Talk:Rafael Rosell

I have edited to include referances but with limited success due to a scarcity of English language sources. Most news stories abour Mr Rosell seem to be in a mix of Tagalog and pidgen-English making it hard to fact check. As a result of this I have had to reference the artist's own official site. This does not seem to me to be acceptable as it is not third party verification, and unless reliable third party sources can be found I would suggest the article remain considered for deletion.A Pedant (talk) 22:55, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Norwegian Ancestry Category

edit

One of the categories for this actor shows that he is a Filipino of Norwegian descent. It is written in the Background part: "The actor was born to Filipino parents based in Norway. His dad is Cebuano and his mom is Bicolano. Both migrated to Norway where he was born in 1982. A full-blooded Filipino, though raised in Norway, he hardly spoke Filipino/Tagalog when he arrived in the Philippines in 2002. To improve his language proficiency, he took up Filipino/Tagalog lesson and reads aloud Tagalog/Filpino material for at least an hour a day."

A Filipino of Norwegian descent means a Filipino who have ancestors from Norway; however, according to his background, it's the other way around. I'll delete the category because it's really misleading.--Sairyu (talk) 07:43, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
