Talk:Radio in the United Kingdom

As with the BBC, digital radio has brought about many changes, including the roll-out of local stations such as Xfm, Kiss 100 and Kerrang Radio.

edit

What does this sentence mean? Is "roll-out" code for something? Have there been changes or are there simply local as well as national commercial stations? Some of these stations have presences in more than one area without being national.

It may be OK to use its nickname, but, encyclopedically, we need to know what the proper name is of this review-process. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.252.103 (talk) 16:57, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Capital's popularity

This assertion that it's the most popular station needs verification. Also, what happens encyclopedically if that situation changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.252.103 (talk) 17:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should be renamed to Broadcast radio in the United Kingdom

edit

The title "Radio in the United Kingdom" should be renamed to "Broadcast radio in the United Kingdom" because the page only makes reference to the commercial broadcast type station and nothing of non-commercial type station or other station types such as Amateur (Ham) radio, Aviation radio, Military radio etc.-anon 87.81.252.83 (talk) 21:19, 11 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, we don't create subpages before we fill the main page. If you want coverage of the other aspects of Radio, add it or mention it. — LlywelynII 09:48, 2 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
