Merge Gould Belt? edit

The article says "It has been suggested that Gould Belt be merged into this article." No reason is given. I suggest not. They are distinct objects. They may be similar. They may have similar origins, or not. We don't know nearly enough. Zaslav (talk) 08:24, 2 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nearest? edit

The article's opening sentence states that 'The Radcliffe wave is the nearest coherent gaseous structure in the Milky Way, dotted with a related high concentration of interconnected stellar nurseries.' Should it not be stated what you're measuring 'nearest' from? 213.205.198.2 (talk) 11:36, 18 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

It's obvious: nearest to Trantor. Seriously, is there really an issue? Zaslav (talk) 02:02, 14 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Map labels edit

I can barely read the map, since it has dark text on a blue and black bakground. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 00:20, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Gould belt clouds edit

The material beginning "The Radcliffe wave contains four of the five Gould Belt clouds" is hard to interpret. The Gould Belt article does not mention the Rho Ophiuchi cloud and also the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex article does not mention the Gould Belt. The rest is also confusing; it needs more careful and precise writing for us non-experts. Someone, please clean this up. Zaslav (talk) 02:01, 14 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
