Racism in Chile

Wikipedia had a deleted article on racism in Chile, because it did not go by wikipedia standards. I'm not sure I need to add a paragraph on the situation of racism in Chile. The country is considered culturally homogeneous and either Whites/Europeans or mestizos are considered majorities of the population, with few Blacks/African descendants and sizable numbers of Jews, Arabs like Palestinians and East Asians. There are 5 issues to bring up in the matter of racism in Chile.

• The income disparity between white Europeans and castizos in the top tier and the massive number of mestizos and indigenous in the bottom tier, socioeconomics correlates with racial origins, but income class is a larger issue than race in Chile. In the Allende era (early 1970s), the briefly left-wing government wanted to reduce racial and socioeconomic inequalities.
• The preference for lighter-skinned or Northern European appearance (i.e. pale skin, blond hair and blue eyes) in the media than darker-looking or Southern European/Mediterranean appearance, and even lower for indigenous ethnological features.
• A dislike for Spaniards, probably due to the colonial era in Chile being a Spanish colony for 3 centuries until independence in the 1810's.
• Neo-Nazis are a problem in Chile in recent years, they have more a political stance than a racial one, many are pro-Pinochet far rightists. Skinheads there are known to harass or intimidate Peruvian and Bolivian, and Afro-Caribbean immigrants the most.
