Proposed Merge

Hi User:Telsho, oppose merge idea as this article was previously redirected to the North America page until June of this year. Since, the article has been vastly improved mainly with translations from the Spanish language version. As it stands now, it is well referenced and thorough. Can't see how a merge would improve the encyclopedic quality of this information. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 03:51, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

I'd like to add that also this article describes the different processes and realities of racism developed in a major Latin-American country, and this is distinctly different from Anglo-America racism. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 16:55, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
Following up on this, as I see the Racism_in_North_America page has the same banner. I would propose that the oveerlapping information be removed from North America and that that page contain redirects and a general summary of the common developments of Racism in North America. In other words, stick strictly to the page title. It would cover the colonial origins and note the differences between Latin-Ameirca and Anglo-America's development of racism. All else redirects to the more specific pages like the Mexican one here. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 17:39, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
