The quote is from Pierce, who wrote the chapter, and we should cite the 1995 edition, since this text is extensively quoted by other authors. It's not clear however that the quote is apposite, it's merely opinion.
The two Smith papers have almost identical abstracts, though different authors. Need to see if the content is the same! Smith talks about "Black racist misandry" - this article is weak on the intersectionality.
