This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) importance has been clearly asserted. In addition to the 4+ published works listed, this author's work has already been cited on multiple other wikipedia articles. Take it to AfD if you think the subject lacks notability. Proposing speedy deletion for lack of asserted importance seems tendentious.
