Hi I joined HMS Osprey in 1967

The first room I was 15 mess in 3 bunks high! I was only 15 and scared but we got on! I started on 771 Sqdn and loved it. I then went to 737 and 820 sqdn's I got promoted to C.P.O and the left 829 was my last sqdn

I hope to hear from anybody Soon

What is the correct number for the runway? edit

The article gives it as 04/22, but Google Maps' satellite imagery shows it as 03/21 (with traces of what appears to be a previous runway aligned as 04/22 visible underneath it). 99.226.149.101 (talk) 15:58, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

A/S School? edit

The HMS Osprey dab page says Osprey was the anti-submarine training school in the 20's and 30's, and links to here. Is this the same place? This article doesn't mention it at all. Xyl 54 (talk) 19:16, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
