I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:29, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the delay, I've been distracted this last month or so.
  • No DABs
  • Two broken external links.  Done fixed - one appeared to be a duplicate so has been removed.
  • Images appropriately licensed. More later.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:51, 6 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Not sure you really need to give an abbreviated version of the squadron names right after the formal usage as if they were abbreviations. They're a lot easier to figure out than most abbreviations.   Done Agreed - doesn't add to article, have removed the abbreviations.
  • To replace poor quality war-era facilities, seven hundred new married living quarters were constructed in Lossiemouth and Elgin in the late 1940s, with the first opening in September 1949. This arrangement differed from the RAF, who typically constructed living-quarters in their airfields. This is unclear to me. How does it differ from RAF policy? Other than quarters were built at Elgin which wasn't controlled by the RN then.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:08, 6 December 2017 (UTC)   Done Reworded to make the point clear.Reply
  • Overlink on Fairey Fireflies   Done
  • GR1B standard allow use of the BAe Sea Eagle "to" allow use...   Done
  • to refurbish the southern HAS complex, which was formerly occupied by No.617 Squadron ready for No. 2 (AC) Squadron awkward   Done
  • BAE Systems operate a Typhoon Simulator Emulated Deployable Cockpit Trainer (EDCT). Suggest "currently" operate   Done
  • A category B listed building, the Old Manse (formerly the Captain's House or Drainie Manse), acts as the station commander's house is close to the entrance to the station. An extra word?   Done Reworded
  • Move the link to RAF Watton in the table to first use   Done
  • Nicely done, more later.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:42, 6 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for reviewing. I've made the changes as suggested. Thx811 (talk) 18:45, 10 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Every station commander needs to be cited. If not, either drop the list or work them into the main body.   Done - removed the list and featured the most prominent and notable examples within the appropriate parts of the history section of the article.
  • airfield boundary, however aviation "although" in place of "however"   Done
  • Link Flight Lieutenant, under-wing fuel tanks   Done
  • Not sure that it would make a difference, but there's a new edition of Smith's book with the title of Action Stations Revisted.
Noted - I don't have access to a copy of either editions so not sure if there would be any relevant changes.
  • All cites that have pages need page numbers. And be sure to use p. and pp. to match the rest of your citations.   Done
  • Why is Jefford's book in cite #34 is given at full length when other citations of books are short form? It also needs a page number. Make sure that all books in your references are cited in short form with the long form in the Bibliography.   Done - citation removed and replaced with an existing one.
  • BTW, is the BA among the post-nominals in the cite of Jefford's book from the original? I rarely ever see it as it's presumed to be an ordinary accomplishment.   Done - removed see above
  • Cite #27 needs pp.   Done
  • What makes Ausmussen's website RS?   Done - replaced reference with another which is a published source.
  • Why are you using Smith D J in cite #4 when he's the only Smith that you're referencing?   Done
  • No need to use Ltd when referring to publishers.   Done
  • Be consistent about date formats in your references. Some are numerical and others are spelled out.   Done
  • So a few tweaks to the main body, but a lot of work to be done on the refs. Merry Christmas Eve!--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:37, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks. Made the changes to the references. Will look at the remaining points shortly. Thx811 (talk) 19:56, 4 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Take your time.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:17, 4 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
That's the remaining points hopefully addressed. Happy to look at anything else you think might need attention. Thx811 (talk) 21:59, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Cite #2 remains dead. It either needs to be replaced or deleted. That's all that I see as left to do.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:37, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
It appears that the link is broken as the page is no longer publicly available, whereas it previously was. Public users now cannot get passed https://www.aidu.mod.uk/Milflip/ without a user name and password. I have a PDF copy of the document referred to. Would it be appropriate to simply remove the link to the website and retain the reference? Thx811 (talk) 20:29, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

That would be fine, but be sure to add all the appropriate data for a printed work.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:15, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thats the reference updated now. thanks Thx811 (talk) 21:15, 11 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
