This article has been given a rating which conflicts with the project-independent quality rating in the banner shell. Please resolve this conflict if possible.
There are two minor errors, I believe in this interesting and useful account. Hope the following might help:
1. The old airfield must have been to the EAST of the A338, not to the left (West) of it as stated at the end of the article.
2. The Ibsley VOR/DME was not located ON the airfield, but about 1.5 miles to the ENE, on top of the common, at approximately 50 53 37N/01 44 54W. I used to maintain this equipment in the early 1970s and it was always a pleasant trip up onto the common, followed by a pint in the Old Beams in Ibsley village!
