Good account, but lead is too long
editMy suggestion is that the lead mention that Smith is highly decorated, citing only his Pulitzer prizes, with the other specific awards moved to an "Awards" section. — MaxEnt 05:36, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
Citations needed
editThe subject appears Wikipedia notable for a biography of a living person and is generally well-written but lacks citations for most of its points about the subject. I added a template for citations needed as well as for promotional material. This article reflects self-promotion and is missing citations for much of its content. The additional citations needed template should be used "for articles where there are some, but insufficient, inline citations to support the material currently in the article." The advert tag "is for Wikipedia articles that in whole or part have been made into public relations documents or brochures, with content that portrays an issue, a product, an organization, or a person in a positive or negative light."
Thanks to anyone in advance who can locate and include additional citations to support the content of the entry. JByrne404 (talk) 02:25, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
