Translation

edit

Translation is possibly wrong.

In article it says: Raketa-Velikaya Dalnost - means

Rocket-Great Distance - which doesn't make sense as in English.

It possibly should be:

Rocketa-Vysokoj Dalnosti

Rocket-of high Distance.

Range

edit

Manufacturer's datasheet says 200km (http://www.missiles.ru/_foto/RVV-BD/IMG.jpg) and 280km for version with rocket booster on this link (http://www.missiles.ru/RVV-BD.htm).Z07x10 (talk) 17:34, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Arrow or Axehead?

edit

Hello @Ethan2345678 and 73.35.181.208:. I was patrolling recent changes when this edit popped up; and I went to look for sources on what the NATO reporting name was, but it seems 73.35.181.208 was not misguided on here since sources exist both claiming AA-13 Arrow and AA-13 Axehead to be the NATO name for R-37M.

Can anyone definitively confirm or deny either name? dibbydib⌐■_■ (barate me) 05:24, 24 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Axehead. Can confirm, current USN aircrew.

It's called Axehead by the folks that matter.

edit

It's called the Axehead.

Operational Service

edit

There was an image that captured a very similar looking missile over Ukraine. Perhaps use in the current war in Ukraine can be added, although i struggle to think of any sources discussing the R-37's deployment there. 36.65.242.246 (talk) 08:25, 15 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
