Translation edit

Literally I should think that "Responsio. Jesum Nazarenum crucifixum, o caelicolae." meant "Answer: [We seek] the crucified Jesuz of Nazareth, o heavenly beings." Haukur 16:55, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Then please change it. I don't read Latin; it's just the translation I found.--Cassmus 19:32, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, it's preferable to use published translations and I'm not much of a Latinist :) Haukur 19:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Staffage at the Crucifixion edit

The following statement does not accurately reflect the actual various reports: In the canonical gospels it is Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary (the mother of James), and "other women" who were present at this event.. Joanna appears only in Luke, etc. Mary, mother of James is oblique. --Wetman (talk) 03:04, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
