Notability
editA cursory glance at the references in this article gives me the impression that the subject current fails WP:NORG. While I'm fairly certain it does meet NORG—largely due to my personal familiarity with the subject's coverage in RS media that meets AUD—I think this article should have incubated a bit longer as a draft. I'm commenting here mostly to remind myself to add to the article once I've got the free time or to nominate it for AfD if I was wrong about fulfillment of NORG. ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:53, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

name change
editAt some point, I think we should consider changing the article name to simply Queens' Guard.Naraht (talk) 00:00, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- I agree, the article name was definitely a product of me not being concise enough on the draft. SalveSoul (talk) 18:05, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Including Image
editI would like to source an image of the crest for the page. However, I am not entirely sure how to resolve the image rights issue. I am fairly certain that it is in the public domain. The image of the crest included in Wilford's Student to Warrior says it was provided via the Special Collections at William and Mary. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.
- @SalveSoul: I would encourage you to request a deletion of the image you uploaded, as I'm almost certain that's a copyright violation. We could use a reduced-size version of the same image under fair use. Allow me to go through the hoops tomorrow morning EST and I'll have the fair-use version up. I may also have a photo of the guard from one of their VT anniversary commemorations about seven years ago; I'll add that if I can find it. ~ Pbritti (talk) 01:53, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- Ok will do. Thanks for the help. SalveSoul (talk) 01:32, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
