Quakers in the American Revolution

edit

This article says nothing about Quakers in the American Revolution. Some held to their pacifist views, while others became "fighting" Quakers. --DThomsen8 (talk) 00:32, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quaker colonies in Florida

edit

There is a substantial population of Quakers in Florida. [1] In the early 19th century, colonies of Quakers formed in northern Florida and the term Quaker might gave the term Florida Cracker as well "cracker" meant a white Anglo person in the Southeastern United States. The story of one Quaker settler in Florida, Zephaniah Kingsley, in a time the state was a Spanish colony until 1819 when the United States annexed the peninsula. 12.218.47.124 (talk) 02:50, 30 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
