Leg Triceps? edit
In the article it says: 'In body building communities, this muscle is colloquially referred to as the "leg triceps"', however I have never heard that phrase. When talking of the body building community, I think it is generally accepted that what we're really talking about is all the guys who go to the gym regularly with an interest in building a lot of muscle, not just those who's interest is in keeping fit, and not specifically those who actually compete (which would be a huge minority compared to all the gym 'bros'). It may well be that serious/ competing bodybuilders or sports scientists refer to the muscles in question as the leg triceps, but to me they are known colloquially in English-speaking countries as 'the quads'. Does everyone else agree? Jaydash — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.6.158.151 (talk) 09:12, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
Completely agree, also the source does not mention "leg triceps" at all. Strange thing to include.

Quadriceps femoris muscle → Quadriceps – Per WP:COMMONNAME, WP:CONCISE, and WP:CONSISTENT for consistency with similar articles that are titled by their common name such as Biceps and Triceps. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:50, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- Agree Seems straightforward as per talk's request.Mozzie (talk) 10:29, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- Speedy support, clear WP:COMMONNAME.--Ortizesp (talk) 16:24, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support on top of what was mentioned there were also recent move requests at Biceps and Triceps in October 2021 where there was a consensus against moving them to their medical names and I don’t see any evidence that this particular muscle group is better known my its medical name.--65.93.195.118 (talk) 21:29, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- Closing comment: I note this completes a triangle of moves

This article is about the quadriceps femoris muscle
which have no valid rationale in terms of wp:AT. Hopefully this will lead to stability. Andrewa (talk) 04:29, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
Training edit
The article briefly mentions squatting, leg pressing and leg extension as possible training methods for the quadriceps, which is correct. But it does not mention running and cycling - which also stimulate the quadriceps quite intensely. Shouldn't we include a reference to these forms of exercise? Strange sentence in introduction edit
The last sentence in the intro paragraph is grammatically incorrect, randomly refers to 3 porn stars, and is not relevant to the article:
"It is used by nearly every famous people. eg, Mia Khalifa, Lana Rhodes, Angela White, etc." 151.95.70.151 (talk) 15:24, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, sorted now. Moons of Io (talk) 15:26, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
