I keep running into a very confusing issue. The "quadrate tubercle" link here sends me to the "tubercle of the femur" article. However, I know that the quadrate tubercle is on the intertrochanteric crest, which is on the posterior side of the femur. I am unsure whether the quadrate tubercle and the tubercle of the femur are the same thing. Either the "tubercle of the femur" article incorrectly displays an anterior view of the femur, or the link to the "tubercle of the femur" is an inappropriate link. This part is very ambiguous "the quadrate tubercle on the intertrochanteric crest and along the quadrate line, the vertical line which runs downward to bisect the lesser trochanter on the medial side of the femur". How does the quadrate line bisect the lesser trochanter? Or does the line mean something else? Please clear this up! (Craterib (talk) 10:36, 24 April 2016 (UTC))Reply
