quad city dj article should focus on their musical mastery
what happened to them? There isn't anything after 1997. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.190.55.94 (talk) 02:33, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
They made a random comeback with a song titled "4 Minute Twerk Out" I have no idea what the context is but it exists. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOplxiFyZ25KHy7UCPJ1cAg (is this actually Quad City DJ's?) TurretBot (talk) 02:28, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
Sic
editWhile understanding the grammatical justification for Template:sic being used in the lede (and why I was reverted by User:Alistair1978), this nevertheless seems like nonstandard usage: The template documentation only talks about quoted material.
Lots of groups, companies, etc. intentionally "misspell" their proper names, or the titles of their works, but we don't sic them:
- The Beatles
- Tumblr / Flickr / Imgur
- Krispy Kreme
- Digg
- Froot Loops
- Chick-fil-A
- Cheez Whiz
- Publix
- I Would Die 4 U
Should we be sic-ing all of these? Woodshed (talk) 16:08, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
I'm sure Space Jam is more popular than C'mon N' Ride It
editCitation needed says that "the fact of Space Jam ['s theme song] being more popular than C'mon N' Ride It is dubious", yet there are thousands of Space Jam mashups, and there was also the SiIvaGunner Space Jam Charity Slam (a live stream that had 24 hours of brand new Space Jam mashups and collected money for charity). And for your information, yes, the Charity Slam was big, it raised over $16,000 for charity. I did the math (Note that I am bad at math, so it might be wrong), and Space Jam's soundtrack sold ~5.7 million more than Get On Up and Dance (the album with C'mon N' Ride It).
