While the sword this article is about may not be that notable, I do believe that the information is somewhat relevant to Zhao Yun. The rescue is only briefly mentioned in the "Life" section of his article, though this story of him rescuing the child and stealing the sword, Qin Gong, is one his more well known tales, though it appears to be dramatized. Perhaps some of this information should be merged to the "Folktales" section of the Zhao Yun article. Any thoughts? (Guyinblack25 15:40, 3 January 2007 (UTC))
- If merged, it should go in a "In Romance of the Three Kingdoms" section. But the Zhao Yun article is such a mess I don't want to deal with it. Also, the name should be Qinggang...since the name's not even spelt correctly, a redirect would be misleading. _dk 16:20, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- If that's the case then no redirect page should be kept. Perhaps an "In Romance of the Three Kingdoms" or "Character in Romance of the Three Kingdoms" section should be started on his page then. I'm no Three Kingdoms expert, but I'm no dunce either. I'll give it a shot or help out in whatever way I can. Though I have never participated in a merger. Other than merging the information into the Zhao Yun article or deleting the article completely, are there any other alternatives? (Guyinblack25 23:59, 3 January 2007 (UTC))
- Not any that I can think of. If the sword plays a more significant role we can move this article to its correct name and then expand it....too bad it doesn't. _dk 10:18, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- If no one objects I will prod it again. _dk 22:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- So then we'll merge it into Zhao Yun's article? If that's the case I'll put up the merger tags over this weekend and read up on the information again so I can place it appropriately in the article. (Guyinblack25 23:29, 5 January 2007 (UTC))
- Sure, I have cleaned up the Zhao Yun article, if that makes your job easier.... _dk 23:59, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

I added the ROTK section to the Zhao Yun article. I was idle too long while I edited it, so I was logged off and it has the IP address of my work computer listed as the editor, but it is done and this article can be deleted. Sorry it took a while, wasn't sure how to word everything. (Guyinblack25 23:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC))
