Regarding the meaning of the word ghari, there is a mistake in the text: Ghari in Persian (Farsi) Language which is the official language in Iran means wain, whereas in Azeri (Azeri Turkish) Language which is the local language the word ghari means old woman or hag. There is a story about the name of this bridge amoung the local people that says the bridge has been built by an old woman's support whose motivation was to ease the access to the other side of the river where her young daughter was living. (A story of course!)
