Swargadwari edit

The amount of material on Swargadwari in this article seems excessive. It borders on proselytization for a particular brand of orthodox Hinduism, which surely is inappropriate in an encyclopedia. The subject might merit its own article, with a more neutral tone and proper references. Otherwise I propose editing it down to one or two sentences. Dropped a sentence or two... edit

about G.P. Koirala. The point of the section about M. B. Singh wasn't to promote his politics, just to demonstrate that Pyuthan has played an important part in Nepal's history. I thought the sentence(s) about Koirala got in the way of that.

I hope we can identify and write about more important people from Pyuthan. How about Chuman Singh Basnet who was headmaster of Mukti MV and eventually got high up in the Ministry of Education? I was told about a musician from Pyuthan who performed regularly on national radio back around 1970. I can't remember his name. There must be plenty more. LADave (talk) 08:54, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Help request edit

I want to modify the population graph so there are two series in the one graph: one population for Pyuthan district and one for Nepal as a whole. I want to scale the Pyuthan population on the left and the national population on the right. The national scale will be 100 times greater. This will show how population growth in the district compares to the nation as a whole. I'll probably also switch from bar to line graphs, but that part looks straightforward. So is it possible to get the dual scales going? LADave (talk) 23:19, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Help:EasyTimeline syntax appears to indicate no. You can always do this on your computer, upload it as an image and add it to the article. --Mdann52talk to me! 14:33, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
