Proposed merge of Attempted assassination of Pavel Milyukov into Pyotr Shabelsky-Bork

edit

Having searched Google Scholar for sources discussing the assassination attempt (primarily by searching for "Nabokov" and "Milyukov" + "1922" in English, Russian and German) I'm unable to find coverage that adds up to WP:GNG for the incident. Merging it to the biography of Shabelsky-Bork, or perhaps Sergey Taboritsky seems most appropriate. signed, Rosguill talk 17:05, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Current source is not very authoritative, I failed to find any good ones even in Russian. For the ones inclined to search further, here is the best one I found (it is dealing with a new document to be entered into the discourse on the subject, the beginning of the publication contains a summary of the event, and references can be used as a starting point to find other publications in Russian):
Kotelnikov, Konstantin D. (2018). "Покушение в Берлине в 1922 г. на П. Н. Милюкова и убийство В. Д. Набокова: показания обвиняемого, монархиста П. Н. Шабельского" [Attempt upon the Life of P. N. Milyukov and Assassination of V. D. Nabokov in Berlin (1922): Testimony of the Accused Monarchist P. N. Schabelsky] (PDF). Herald of an archivist (in Russian) (3): 867–881. doi:10.28995/2073-0101-2018-3-867-881.
All said, the article can be modified to use the source above, but will be essentially single-sourced again. The author was working on his PhD at a major Russian university. --Викидим (talk) 01:06, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
