Islamic festivals edit
@Malikhpur: Muslims form the majority of Punjabi population. This article mentions Islamic festivals in a sentence, in the passing, which raises serious NPOV concerns. Please consider expanding those sections for balance, and clarifying which festivals are predominantly celebrated by Muslims, or by Sikhs, or by Hindus. - @Malikhpur: The article is looking better. Please consider a summary about Zuljinnah, Alam, and Tazia processions on Muharram among Punjabi Shia Muslims. See 1 (pages 87-102) and 1a (page 271 mentions Tazia in Lahore during Sikh and British rule period), 2, 3, 4, etc. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 21:08, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Hindu and Sikh festival edit
@Malikhpur: Please stick with WP:RS. The mainstream sources state Holi/Vaishakhi etc are religious festivals. Yes, a few people from other religions can also observe it because the individuals are secular and culture-driven, but we can't do original research and represent the festivals as having nothing to do with religion(s). Christmas is a Christian festival, for example, but many non-Christians observe it by giving gifts and celebrating the cultural aspects of it. Wikipedia can't state Christmas has nothing to do with Christianity, and declare it as a seasonal festival. Let us just stick with summarizing the reliable sources, and stop original research on human history/festivals. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 13:40, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
