Proposed split

Yadavindra College of Engineering, Talwandi Sabo (a regional campus of Punjabi University, Patiala) was a separate page on wikipedia, but it was redirected to Punjabi University by an editor. I request to split Punjabi University and Yadavindra College of Engineering into two different pages. As per Wikipedia's [[1]] branching guidelines, which clearly says that the sub-organization should be notable enough as per guidelines. I think this sub-organization/article is good enough for notability guidelines. So, I am proposing to revert this redirect. Quality Check ^(talk) 18:54, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

The branch itself is notable, being a full fledged engineering college. Similar articles already exist on wikipedia (UIET, UICET, UIAMS and PUSSGRC) of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Also, whosoever has marked it as redirect, not even bothered to add/merge the existing page content into main article. Kindly revert this redirect, as this separate article is definitely a positive addition to Wikipedia.Quality Check ^(talk) 10:39, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

Dispute claim of only 2nd university named after language

List of Sanskrit universities in India - Wikipedia lists universities with Sanskrit language in name starting with Year 1791. 63.88.87.68 (talk) 16:33, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
