Proposal to move page edit

I am not sure why this page is called Punchbowl Bus and Coach Company, Sydney. Going to the company website, the company name is Punchbowl, Narwee & G.P Bus Co. Pty Ltd. However they trade as Punchbowl Bus Co.. They have used different wording on their livery at different stages of their corporate history.

At any rate I would like to remove , Sydney from the article name. As discussed above the name the company is referred to as, needs to be consistent with either

  • Common practice
  • What they publish on their website & timetables or
  • Their legal trading name

According to This the company is named PUNCHBOWL BUS CO PTY LTD so perhaps this is what the article could be renamed as. Quaidy 05:38, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pty Ltd is not usually referred to when talking about companies - they are there to identify legal status. I will move the article to Punchbowl Bus Company and put the full company name from ASIC in the lead section. Garrie 22:23, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Page has been moved, double redirects now point straight to this page, but there are a large number of pages still pointing to the current redirect page. These should be fixed on an ongoing basis by a regular editor of this page.
I will fix template:BusesInSydney. Garrie 22:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lead section edit

Rather than listing routes, the lead section should simply summarise how many routes are the company operate. A full list is included within the article. This company is not notable enough, nor complex enough in operation, to require more than one or two short paragraphs in the lead section. Garrie 22:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Punchbowl edit

As of today, the History section of this article reads like: "Punchbowl Bus Company, Punchbowl Punchbowl Punchbowl Punchbowl Punchbowl". It's rather annoying. I usually have little trouble grinding through problematic prose such as this and coming up with ways to adjust it, but this is a little over the top. To anyone who has any actual knowledge of this company (I hope that someone is watching this page!), please take this as constructive criticism and get to work on this history section here. Thanks!
