editThe life and legacy of Punch Dickins should be recognized. I invite other writers to submit more information about one of Canada's heroes of the sky.

War service record verification
editCould someone add primary literary references for the assertion that Dickins claimed 7 enemy aircraft destroyed? I can find no proof he personnally claimed this number to become an 'ace', although of course it could have been an accumulation of claims by his gunner(s), as was the norm in the RFC/RAF 2-seater squadrons in WW1. Christopher Shores' definitive works on the Great war aces (especially 1997's 'Above the War Front' listing all British & Commonwealth bomber and corps pilot/gunner 'aces') has no reference at all to Dickins. Tone and references
editThe article is written in a familiar style "Punch became a bomber pilot..." rather than "Dickins became a bomber pilot..." which is inconsistent with the tone of Wikipedia. References are needed for many of the statements made in the article.
