Trench Depth Not Cited

The article claims the depth is 8000 meters; this appears to be a round figure and a minimum. Other figures cited elsewhere suggest the trench is deeper:

Earthquake history section is of little value

The second paragraph in the Eathquake History section:

Puerto Rico in particular has always been an area of concern to earthquake experts because, apart from the 1918 episode, there are frequent cases of tremors in and around the island. A 1981 tremor was felt across the island, while another in 1985 was felt in the towns of Cayey and Salinas.

This has very little value in terms of the content of the article. Earthquakes are felt across the island often with an increased number of quakes stronger than 5.0 since 2010 in various parts of the island and around the island. Most notable among them the one on May 16th 2010 in Moca and the one on Christmas Eve 2010 which caught most people off-guard amid Christmas celebrations around the island. 2011 and 2012 have also seen earthquakes felt across the island like in the the morning of December 17, 2011 when three earthquakes were felt within minutes of each other (5.1, 5.3 and 3.9). Being so specific in that a 1981 tremor was felt across the island and another in 1985 was felt in Cayey and Salinas is pretty much meaningless.

Useless statistic

As of 2007, a study conducted by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) concluded the possibility of a major earthquake to be high as 33–55%.
This statistic is totally useless without a timeframe associated. If it were "per year" then the stat would be defacto proven faulty by now, as the probability of an earthquake having happened in the years succeeding would be almost 99%, when it's clear no such earthquake has happened. It should be removed, or investigated and improved with the added info. 167.230.96.7 (talk) 21:56, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

This page should include the 2010 Haiti earthquake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.229.235.94 (talk) 04:10, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
