boatship is not a word in English. It has no meaning. Therefore barqueta cannot mean literally 'boatship'. This is nonsense and it is not a translation.Optymystic (talk) 00:24, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

My suspicion is that this is really about barges (barcazas) or lighters. My contention is 'bridge of the barges' is a historic reference to an earlier gate of the barges which had a barge crossing of the river. Optymystic (talk) 00:41, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
