The following paragraph was removed from the article because it did not cite sources:

Smoking rates since the act passed in 1970 have gone down dramatically. Prior to the act's passage smoking rates were steadily increasing every year. Starting in the early 1970's after the act's passage though, smoking rates began a steady decline. In fact, smoking rates in the United States are now at their lowest rate ever.
