Ian C. Kemp and Carl-Gustav Berg advocate ("DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PSYCHROMETER EQUATION FOR ESTIMATING THE WET BULT TEMPERATURE OF DRYING SOLIDS," IDS 2002, pp. 259-271) the name psychrometric COEFFICIENT instead of psychrometric CONSTANT, in reference to the PSYCHROMETER EQUATION when using physically measured wet-bulb temperatures, because "...it can vary with temperature, humidity and the identity of the gas and vapor..."
