Confusing citation style

edit

What is going on with the citation style? Why does every citation seem to just lead right back to this very page?--Megaman en m (talk) 09:46, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wow, that was a bit of an exercise. I've changed the citations to use short-footnote templates correctly. ClaudineChionh (talkcontribs) 08:47, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Footnotes still make no sense and lead only back to this article or nowhere at all. --slashdottir — Preceding undated comment added 17:29, 27 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Original research

edit

This is obviously original research as the subject is not a field of study. As there is nobody studying this directly, the citations are drawn from some unspecified connection to occupational psychology. Method acting is surely not the same as workers who have to put on a smile for customers. One of the citations was a radio broadcast. That's clearly not acceptable.--Cuthbert Bargepole (talk) 04:34, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Examples

edit

Some specific examples would be very helpful. Like Michael B. Jordan having to get therapy after isolating himself for days at a time to play Erik Killmonger in Black Panther. --JDspeeder1 (talk) 08:55, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ridiculous

edit

This article is ridiculous, and should be deleted. Method acting is much more complex, see the main article, than this tripe spews. Original research with no peer review. 2603:7000:A703:C99C:AC02:2A3E:6263:8835 (talk) 11:47, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
