Invalid unproven POV

"Most common explanations for its actions involve air currents caused by the convection of heated air which move the psi wheel" - That is an unproven bias POV. Shirak has proven the convection theory to be false by heating a spoon and placing the heated spoon in the container with the psi wheel, the wheel did not move due to convection heating. The video of this demonstration can be found on youtube:Here -Also some people claim to be (including me) claim to be able to change the direction of the spin via thought alone. which would be inmpossible by just heat

I think that should be removed, our hands plain just isn't hot enough to be able to cause that much convection. I say the entie mechanical section should be removed, or at least a counterpoint mentioned. Scienceisyourfriend (talk) 22:35, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree. This subject is not something only specialists can test, allmost everyone can move a psi-wheel, an it can be learnt in a few minutes. Then you can also easly demonstrate for yourself that it isn't the heat that is pushing it, by moving your hands farther away, and hold them completely still. One other possible explanation is that the body DOES give off weak, weak, weak, magnetic forces and electrical currents as we are pretty much a giant bioelectric circuit board. Studies have shown that the amount of electricity (we are talking TINY TINY amounts) can change in location and intensity being given off from the body/brain.

Psi Wheel Physics

Hi there, I am a physicist. It is true that, someone can really spin the psi wheel. You can find tons of video clips on the Youtube, however many hoaxes about that stuff on Youtube may lead some one hard to believe-- is it true? Spin the psi wheel known as Telekenisis. Telekenisis means moving something else without touching/direct contact through the mind power. You need to be physic ability or some how trained to rotate the psi wheel.

Some tried to explain this rotation of the wheel are just demonstrating natural forces such as heat convection, static electricity, vibration etc.” In my view point those theories are not suitable, psi wheel till could spin inside a glass enclosure. In this case air disturbance, heat convection and vibration etc could not influence the wheel rotation. I also belive, neither static electricity nor magnetic force involve to rotating this. I did succeed to rotate the psi wheel, with the aid of so called "the mind power" !! I find no deflection in compass while the psi wheel moves. I also used different materials for the psi wheel, no difference observed.

Now the question is, what types of “unknown energy” make it rotates? Is it unexplained? Does our poor Physics have the answer?

Don’t be frustrated !! Telekinesis is a very normal phenomenon and every one could succeed it. (Let me explain later) And the physics also can give you the very satisfactory answer.

You are clearly no physicist. Aluminium, the metal from which foil is made is not ferromagnetic. Also psi wheel could be any material and size-shape does not affect it's rotation. I concluded that, mind power must be associate with angular momentum spin wave. When we place a hand beside the psi wheel and think of the wheel, we actually produce the angular momentum spin wave in the brain and pass through it our hand or any body parts towards the psi wheel. This angular momentum spin wave resonate the wheel and make it rotates. Please note that, it is not a transverse or longitudinal vibration like the sound wave.

More observations were made. I find that, it is difficult to rotate the psi wheel which is placed in a glass enclosure, because the spin wave attenuate in the glass. However in case of the crystal-glass enclosure the spin wave less attenuate and relatively easy to rotate the psi wheel.

It is nothing but "Angular Momentum Resonance". And the last word, by mind concentration human being can generate spin angular momentum in their brain and can transmit it into their associate body parts. Md. Zafar Al Masood

Video

The video in the article should be removed. Although a video showing the suposed workings of such a thing is more than apropriate, such a video should either be real, as this is not, as can be clairly seen by the fact there was a gap in the "walls" which they tried to hide siting that thing across the top (not the genral cover) which falls a gap that air could be coming in, there is a device sitting by the gap that looks to me a bit like a speaker... or, the video should be an outright work of fiction, such as an animation or showing the mechanism to making it work. The current video is delibritly made to make it look like the phenomena is real via a fake video. Changes in rotation of Psi wheel

  I've been spinning things such as paper and aluminium for about a year now. The rotation would be clockwise sometimes and counter clockwise at other times. Even when I drove to the store and back it could change. By concentrating I began to be able to choose or change spin a little. I meditate and practice qigong and chakra exercises. Just recently I discovered if I fashioned them like a propeller they would spin in that direction. I can have many wheels spinning in different directions simply by direction of prop.
  I also discovered that a pendulum really works. Explanations

There are good mainstream explanations for this, including confirmation bias, breathing, other causes of air movement, gravity, static, ideomotor response, etc. Someone who has time should attempt to look for sources and expand the article about this...
