Hanson's/Hansen's bush cherry is actually a cultivated variety of Prunis Pumila Besseyi otherwise known as the Western Sand Cherry- http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/trees/andbook/th-3-45.pdf or Bessey cherry.

Prunis Pumila article right now is pretty poor at the moment so feel free to improve it with this info....

There are 4 varieties of Prunis Pumila (Sand cherries) http://www.jstor.org/pss/1224559-

Prunis Pumila var Depressa - Eastern Sand Cherry, Prostrate Cherry, and Dwarf Sand Cherry -- This cherry plant grows to about 18 inches

Prunis Pumila var Besseyi - Western Sand Cherry, Rocky Mountain Cherry, Bessey's Cherry, Dwarf Cherry, and Sand Cherry. The bush grows to a height of 4-8 feet.

Prunus pumila var pumila sometimes referred to as Cerasus pumila- Great Lakes Sand Cherry and Dwarf Sand Cherry. Grows about 8-12 inches.

Prunis pumila var cuneata sometimes known as Prunus pumila var susquehanae - Susquehana Cherry, and Sand Cherry.

Spelling? edit

The main English Wikipedia article for 南京 is titled "Nanjing" with "Nanking" as an alternate. I think the former is the generally accepted spelling now.
