Maine edit

What is now considered present-day Maine played a significant role with these troops. Of course Maine was part of Massachusetts at the time. I'm still wondering if the article could make the Maine contribution more visible?--Hantsheroes (talk) 08:31, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

One way would be to go through the books about Massachusetts I've used, and extract what's

specific for Maine. Another would be to get this book: French & Indian Wars in Maine, and start from there. Creuzbourg (talk) 18:22, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Failed verifications edit

Several ipn-numbers have made valuable changes and additions. However, after having correcting the citations, I have found that only part of the statements in the altered and new paragraphs can be verified by them. For instance, raising of a NC Regiment in 1761 is verified, but not its commander, or the fact that "The force only made it as far as modern Kingsport (Tennessee) before peace was concluded."
