"Brilliant white sand and shimmering turquoise waters"
editMuch of this article reads like a tourism plug, and was no doubt written by some representative of the T & C government. Thanks for the helpful info.... ~sarcasm~ 67.68.45.172 (talk) 03:21, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Population
editThe 15,542 seems like a rather outdated figure. Currently there are probably 30,000 - 35,000 people living on Provo (see CIA factbook on TCI, or de.wikipedia, fr.wikipedia etc.). But in default of a quotable number I have to refrain from editing... Schnederpelz (talk) 17:30, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Pronunciation
editHow do locals pronounce the name of the city? Someone knowing IPA should add a note. Bluewhirl (talk) 03:41, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
Tripadvisor?
editThe end of the opening paragraph states that the island was ranked best beach destination, is that really something useful for this article?
It's already been stated above that this article reads like a tourism plug. I'm curious if others think statements and "facts" like these are appropriate for the article?
