I feel that the article should make it clear that: - 1. There was never any property qualification for voting for the Stormont Parliament (except for women, whatever their community background, in the 1920s). This was because, as stated in the article, the property qualification was abolished for elections to the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland by the Representation of the People Act 1918, and the same franchise was adopted when the Northern Ireland Parliament was set up in 1921. 2. The ratepayer franchise applied only to local government. 3. The ratepayer franchise also applied in local government in England until the 1940's. Alekksandr (talk) 23:16, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
