Etymology

I am wondering if anyone might add an explanation of the name of the muscle (particularly the "teres" part) to the article introduction. Knowing the origin of a name always helps with remembering it. 2Plus2Is4 (talk) 23:59, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Nerve supply

I am wondering why the detailed description of the flow of information from the precentral gyrus to the forearm; isn't 'median nerve' enough? "Attachment" vs "origin"

I was taught that "attachment" refers to either of "origin" and "insertion". Is this an incorrect distinction? I have edited the article introduction so that it refers to the two proximal "origins" (as opposed to "attachments") and one distal "insertion".
