There should be some more stuff how projectors work in general here. The history part is a mix from pinhole camera, camera obscura, slide projector, overhead projector, magic lantern and opaque projector. 195.18.216.204 (talk) 23:01, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

There are 100+ incoming links via the redirect at image projector, so despite the comment above that the term is not a common term perhaps we should keep it. I get 216,000 ghits as well. Andrewa (talk) 05:11, 22 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
