- According to Kolomna's press release, the power plant will be produced by Kolomna (diesel engines) and Ruselprom (generators). While earlier sketches of Project 23550 included ABB Azipod propulsion units, photographs of the builder's model (e.g. here) clearly show that the final design has a more conventional propulsion with twin shaft lines and rudders. This is also supported by Ruselprom's press release about the propulsion motors and, if you are willing to accept some WP:OR, recent photographs of the unfinished hull. Obviously over time we will get WP:RS to confirm the final propulsion configuration.
