Isn't there a hairstyle called a 'princeton' as well? Nagelfar 03:03, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

And I know people may read this and think I'm refering to the "prince valiant", but I'm sure there is one called a "princeton" which is different: short fade on the sides & back, long on top, usually stylized back with a wave of some sort, not to the point of a bouffant or pompadour, but relatively long. It was common in the German military during WWII. I'm sure there may be a separate German name for it too. Nagelfar 12:44, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

PrincetonPrinceton (disambiguation) – Princeton usually refers to Princeton University. It can be assumed that Princeton usually means Princeton University besides some minor occurrences. Therefore, I added a redirect to Princeton University and believe a disambiguation page is necessary. Ziggy7th (talk) 14:34, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

What if the speaker said "My father lives in Princeton" instead? Station1 (talk) 06:53, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Unambiguous, because one doesn't live in a university. That example can only be the town. "Went to" could have been either. Lwarrenwiki (talk) 07:21, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
That's a good point. Station1 (talk) 08:31, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Crouch, Swale: bit confused by your 1st sentence. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:01, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Shhhnotsoloud: I was saying that I oppose to making "Princeton" a redirect to Princeton University but might support making "Princeton" a redirect to Princeton, New Jersey. Kansas City was redirected to the general area per WP:DABCONCEPT, although it is not analog to this, the principal is that the uni is in the municipality. Understood, thanks. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:36, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
