How current is the information that she's studying at Ritsumeikan? Even if it is indeed current, adding years would be good to ensure that it remains accurate. Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(dates_and_numbers)#Chronological_items advises to avoid terms such as "currently", "now", and "recently" as it makes it unclear as to whether or not the information is current (and therefore accurate).
