Boris Johnson

edit

Isn't wiki wonderful? I sit here watching a program on BBC Tv about ancestors of Boris Johnson, which determines he is descended from Prince Paul via an illegitimate daughter. Stated she lived with him in Paris. Now, where do we write that up? The program showed shots of the documentation, the illegitimate daughter was acknowledged as such. I have not seen the program but understand that the documentation showed that Paul's mistress was called Frederica Port and that their child Adelhaid Pauline von Rothenburg, was born 28 November 1805 and died about 1874. She had married at Augsburg, 16 February 1836, Charles de Pfeffel (1811-1890). Their child Hubert de Pfeffel married Helen Riviere and they were the parents of Marie-Louise de Pfeffel who married Stanley Williams. Their child Irene Williams married Osman Wilfred Ke'mal (also known as Wilfred Johnson) and they were the parents of Stanley Patrick Johnson (born 1940) the father of (Alexander) Boris (de Pfeffel) Johnson (born 1964). I do not know if these details have been published anywhere; if so some further amendment to the article is called for. AnthonyCamp (talk) 13:14, 29 November 2008 (UTC).Reply

Date of death

edit

Need clarification on 1852 as the date of death, although I have seen that date elsewhere on the internet. Please see Journals of Prince Paul of Wuternburg, where it mentions a couple of paragraphs from the end the dates of his visits to the United States. The fourth trip was 1849-1856 and the last trip was 1857-1858. Also, please reference Carl Iwonski where it mentions in the second paragraph that the prince made a visit to New Braunfels, Texas in 1855. Perhaps there needs to be a correction on the date of death??? Maile66 (talk) 16:00, 15 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

There was Duke Paul Wilhelm of Württemberg who I believe the Journals of Prince Paul of Wutermburg refers to (even though his title was Duke as he was not a descended from a Württemberg king). - dwc lr (talk) 15:40, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
