A few questions: What is meant by "honourary peerage"? It doesn't really make sense. Was he really on the Privy Council, and if so, why is he not in our list of historical members? I have (I hope) clarified some matters regarding his wife. -- Nunh-huh 00:43, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Prince Edward of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach → Prince Edward of Saxe-Weimar – WP:COMMONNAME. He is principally notable as a British military officer, and in British sources he is most commonly known as "Prince Edward of Saxe-Weimar". See examples from the London Gazette (the official paper of record) in 1846, 1864, 1887, 1898... there are lots more. Opera hat (talk) 00:41, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support There's 183 post-1980 Google Book hits for "Prince Edward of Saxe-Weimar". Adding "-Eisenach" cuts it to 178. Here is his obit in the New York Times. His father's title is given as "Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach", but there is no suggestion that this is his name. Kauffner (talk) 05:07, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
