Attempted Speedy Deletion edit

Even if this was WP:OR, which at least part of it is not, because it's a real company, as we can see from its website that's linked on this page, OR is a "non-criteria" for speedy deletion. This needs {{cleanup}} or {{unreferenced}}, not speedy delete (or even delete). Telso 05:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

---Agreed. Primus has been doing sleezy things like this for years.---

We were subject to their telemarketing scheme. This page was useful.

you got a call ? OMG

Advertising tone edit

not sure why this is an advertising tone when i am referencing the material to the website the current info you have there are innocorect —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gnada (talkcontribs)

An article that boasts about a company offering the widest selection of consumer and business telecommunications services is considered to have an advertising tone because it violates Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. This is something the company would say about itself to attract new customers, it's not an objective observation and it's not encyclopedic. My proof of that is the fact that this edit is a word-for-word copy of the Primus official website where they explain who they are. SWik78 (talk) 18:56, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I removed all non-neutral words to eliminate the "advertising" tone. Kuration (talk) 14:05, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reverting to it's own page edit

Primus Canada was redirected to the Birch Telecommunications page following it's acquisition by Birch. Since then, Birch has been acquired by Fusion Connect, Inc. and no longer exists as an entity (even the Birch website now goes to Fusion Connect's website), and after that Primus Canada was sold to Distributel. Primus Canada continues to exist as a distinct brand from Distributel, so it should have it's own Wikipedia page, in the same way that Fido (wireless carrier), owned by Rogers Communications, or Sprite (drink), owned by The Coca-Cola Company does. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The axel (talkcontribs) 21:08, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
