Talk:Prime Minister of Northern Ireland

This article says nothing about why the office was abolished in '72, which is a serious flaw. -R. fiend 18:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I added a sentence to clear that up. I'm not an expert on this, but I think I represented it correctly. If not, I hope someone with more expertise will correct it. -R. fiend 16:36, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Deputies

Perhaps we could finally settle whether a Deputy PM existed; see discussion at Talk:Milne Barbour. --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 01:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. A Deputy Prime Minister of Northern Ireland did exist, but whether it existed for very long is uncertain. The only Deputy that I know of is Jack Andrews, who was Deputy Prime Minister from 1967 to 1972 and he was also the Leader of the Senate of Northern Ireland at the time. It is possible that the position was either only held by Andrews or it was created personally for Andrews. JAU123. JAU123 (talk) 17:23, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
