Article "the" edit

Is the article "the" part of the denomination's name? --ChoG (talk) 15:32, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I doubt it, so I changed it. --ChoG (talk) 12:20, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

To merge given the historical continuity (name change in 1928); alternative structures rejected by their proposer. Klbrain (talk) 11:42, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

These two articles are about a single denomination, which was renamed in 1928. Some content may be merged to Welsh Methodist revival. Daask (talk) 00:53, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I note that Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion is another denomination which emerged from the Welsh Methodist revival. Another option would be to use Calvinistic Methodists to refer to the broader stream of churches which emerged from this revival, inclusive of both denominations. However, I reject this option because
  1. Calvinistic Methodists was the proper name of the denomination Presbyterian Church of Wales
  2. These denominations don't seem to share anything besides their origin. There is no other shared topic to discuss besides what is, or should be, covered in the article Welsh Methodist revival. Daask (talk) 12:03, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
