I don't think there is really a notability issue here. The guidelines say, "An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources." There are two articles about Powerset cited in the references. One is from the NY Times and the other is from the Washington Post. I think both of those would qualify as "reliable, independent secondary sources".
