I came across this page because I was trying to map photos that I took on vacation, but the "grid ref" is of little use to me since I don't know what map system it's referring to. (I'm from the U.S., so if this is common in Europe, I apologize.) I *think* I located it on google maps at 53.048689,-9.140041 - and I think lat/long is a far more universal method of mapping.
