Engines
editThere seem to be discrepancies with the engines fitted. There are photos of the biplane version with the Renault V-12 engine, and others showing both the biplane and monoplane with W engines:
- [1] shows the biplane with a W engine, oil coolers on the fuselage sides and no forward cabane struts.
- [2] Clearly shows the biplane fitted with a W engine and forward cabane struts.
- [3] shows the monoplane fitted with a W engine, pointing to a W-12 due to the exhaust stubs and the apparent angle of the cylinder banks. (the W-12 had 45° banks, but the W-18 had 30° banks).

All the references I can find so far only give two engines, the Renault 12Kg and the Farman 18W, some more info seems to be required!--Petebutt (talk) 05:02, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

- Morning Pete, In a rare moment of OR I decided that the W18 listed by aviafrance must be the W12, both on the extent of the exhaust stubs and the power (didn't know about the angle). It's also the case that the W12 was much more widely used; Potez were using it at about the same time on some Potez 25s. I sent a note to aviafrance suggesting they may be in error and I'll report back if I hear from them. There is a sketch in Flight of the 28 GR which shows a three row engine but identifies it as a Renault, which can't be so; no help there.TSRL (talk) 08:53, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
